CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy applies to individual sessions, sports assessments, session packages, monthly plans, partner training, group training and team services booked with YCS Coach.

1. Booking confirmation

An appointment is considered confirmed when:

  • The booking has been accepted.
  • The date and time have been agreed.
  • The corresponding payment has been received.

Booking and making payment constitute acceptance of this policy.

2. Individual sessions and sports assessments

Cancellation or rescheduling with at least 24 hours’ notice

The session may be rescheduled once at no additional cost.

If the session was purchased separately and the client chooses to cancel it, a full refund may be requested.

Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice

The session will be charged in full and will not be refundable.

No-show

Failure to attend without prior notice will be charged in full and the session will be considered used.

3. Ten-session package

The ten-session package is valid for five weeks from the date of the first session.

  • The package must be paid for before training begins.
  • Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice will remain available.
  • All sessions must be used within the original five-week validity period.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be deducted from the package.
  • No-shows will be deducted from the package.
  • Cancelling an appointment does not automatically extend the package’s validity.
  • Unused sessions will expire at the end of the five-week period.
  • The package is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Once the package has started, partial refunds will not be provided unless required by law.

In the event of illness, injury or exceptional circumstances, YCS Coach may authorise one extension of up to 14 days in writing.

If YCS Coach cancels a session and cannot provide an alternative within the validity period, the package will be extended for the time required to complete the session.

4. Monthly plan

The monthly plan is valid for one month from the agreed starting date and guarantees the reservation of specific weekly training times.

  • The monthly plan must be paid in advance.
  • Weekly training times are agreed before the plan begins.
  • Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled within the same monthly period.
  • A maximum of two replacement sessions is permitted during each monthly period.
  • Replacement sessions are subject to YCS Coach’s availability.
  • The same day or time as the original session cannot be guaranteed.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be considered used sessions.
  • No-shows will be considered used sessions.
  • Unused sessions do not accumulate or automatically carry over to the following month.
  • Holidays, travel and personal commitments do not automatically pause or extend the plan.
  • The monthly plan is personal and cannot be transferred.
  • Once the monthly period has started, partial refunds will not be provided unless required by law.

In the event of illness, prolonged injury or exceptional circumstances, YCS Coach may authorise a pause or extension in writing.

Sessions cancelled by YCS Coach must be rescheduled. If they cannot be completed during the same period, they may be transferred to the following month or applied as credit.

5. Partner training

If one participant cannot attend, notice must be provided at least 24 hours before the session.

The session may:

  • Be rescheduled if both participants and YCS Coach can agree on another time.
  • Continue with one participant without changing the agreed price.
  • Be considered used if cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment.

The absence of one participant does not automatically entitle either participant to a partial refund.

6. Team and group training

At least 48 hours’ notice

The session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Between 24 and 48 hours’ notice

50% of the agreed price will be charged.

Less than 24 hours’ notice or group no-show

100% of the agreed price will be charged.

Where a separate agreement exists with a club, team, academy or institution, the conditions of that agreement will take precedence.

7. Late arrival

The session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid affecting subsequent appointments.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice may be treated as a no-show. The session will therefore be charged or deducted from the package.

Time lost because of the client’s late arrival cannot be added to the end of the session.

8. Illness, injury and exceptional circumstances

In the event of illness, accident, injury or emergency, the client must provide notice as soon as reasonably possible.

Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually. Any exception is discretionary and must be confirmed in writing.

Granting an exception does not automatically change the conditions of future bookings.

9. Cancellation by YCS Coach

If YCS Coach has to cancel a session, the client may choose to:

  • Reschedule the session free of charge.
  • Keep the amount as account credit.
  • Receive a full refund for the cancelled session.

A session cancelled by YCS Coach will never be deducted from a package or monthly plan.

10. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

The refund will be initiated within five business days after approval. The time required for the funds to arrive may depend on the financial institution.

11. How to cancel or reschedule

Cancellations and changes must be communicated through:

  • The cancellation or rescheduling link included in the Calendly confirmation.
  • WhatsApp: +36 30 700 3953
  • Email: info@ycs.coach

The cancellation time will be the time at which YCS Coach receives the notification.

12. Client rights

This policy regulates bookings, cancellations and replacement sessions. It does not restrict any mandatory consumer rights under Hungarian or European Union law.
